Dinner on Thursday evening was first class with excellent presentation, and a cooperative sunset over the lake (great views from the rooms and the restaurant).

Breakfast to go for the safari, and breakfast in the restaurant on Friday were both very good. Lots of moose themed decor and accessories everywhere, including the giant wooden moose guarding the front door,

Linda helped coordinate our guided trips while we were there, which was really helpful. There was one small snafu for one of our trips being booked incorrectly, but we were able to do most of the activities over a couple days on separate trips so everything worked out.

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. The location of the lodge and views are spectacular. Also, the breakfasts that were cooked each morning and the chocolate chip cookies out in the pantry each day were DELICIOUS! We were a little bummed that the restaurant/pub was already closed for the season when we arrived since the breakfasts were so good we really wanted to try dinner there.

We had a wonderful time. Linda was very welcoming. Our room was beyond beautiful and comfortable. Our meat & cheese platter was better than any others we have ordered at high end B&B's. It was a full meal for us which was great because your restaurant is not open during the week, so it was perfect and we did not have to leave our room. Every attention to details was amazing right down to separate bed warming system and binoculars for our deck, ice in the fridge and we enjoyed the book that past guest have stayed. We will be back again next year. The only suggestion I would give is the same as previous customers is that there needs to be a protein included with breakfast. A lot of us are not morning sweeties so I had yogurt and fruit, but was hungry 20 minutes later. Eggs and bacon go a long way ;)

We stayed a few days in the Loon room and then a few days in the Baxter suite. The Baxter suite was definitely bigger and nicer, but the Loon room's deck had a better view.

Superb location, great amenities, welcomed like family by Manager, Katie and Chef (and I do mean CHEF) Steve.

Overall, we loved our stay and had a great time!

We loved our stay at the lodge! Our room was perfect and we loved all the detail in the work. The view was stunning and made sitting on the deck that much more perfect. The breakfast was amazing as well as the service for it. The owners were attentive and fun to chat with. They know what they are doing and it was nice to see how much they enjoy the place also. The location of the lodge on Lily Bay Rd was perfect for us as we adventure both north and south of the lodge. We look forward to staying there again and picking a new themed room. The only slight downside was the internet didn't work in our room, which wasn't a big deal because we wanted time together not time on our phone. I will absolutely be staying at the lodge again.

The organized moose safari with guide Mark, was excellent, and successful (5 moose and one deer sighted).

We stayed in the Moose Room, which is every bit as gorgeous as it looks, and next time (we'll be back!) we'll try the Loon Room.

My husband and I stayed at The Lodge for two nights of our 15th wedding anniversary. Linda greeted us upon our arrival, showed us around the property and was sure to let us know if we needed anything to just let her know. We went on a moose safari the first evening and they were very accommodating to our vegan diet for the snacks that were provided. We stayed in the Bear room that had a fabulous view, a nice deck, fridge and coffee maker and fireplace. There are many nice sitting areas in the main lodge as well as a pub with pool table and games on the lower level. We did not take advantage of the dining options. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Lodge as well as our adventures around Moosehead Lake. Would highly recommend the Lodge. It was our first time to the Moosehead Lake area and we will certainly be back!
