The only place to stay! Was up with the family and we have found our new yearly getaway. The cabins were really like vacation homes and at a perfect price! :) The sandy beach was perfect! Literally right at our doorstep was Moosehead Lake and a sandy beach for the kids to play. Beach access was so easy that Grandma could walk right down and lounge on the dock. Allot of rentals in Greenville Lie about their location and others you can’t even get ahold of the owners if you have a question. We wanted a perfect quite getaway and The Cozy Moose was soooo helpful. A Perk you get for a family owned rental
We drove up to this gorgeous log cabin in the woods and the first thing that rendered us speechless was the view THRU the windows straight out to the lake! Beautiful calm peaceful Moosehead Lake.
Going back for a 3rd year. The perfect place for a romantic get away or for the family. Cabins are on Moosehead Lake which is beautiful.A private road leads to the cabins which are comfortable and clean. Nature trails nearby. If you're looking for wildlife you can arrange a trip with Trevor Davis, I highly recommend it.The Cozy Moose is without a doubt the best place to stay when in Maine.
Our October 2015 elopement trip was everything we could have asked for and then some! The cabin was cute, cozy, and very clean! The owners went out of their way to make our day extra special from hand picking my wedding bouquet, to being our witnesses, and taking gorgeous outdoor photos of us despite the chillier than expected temperatures. The lake views from this cabin are unbelievable and the sound of the waves crashing against the shores is beautiful! We would recommend this place to anyone, and will most definitely be back! As one of the owners says - you don't pay for a place to stay here, you pay for the experience!!! Breathtaking views, peaceful serenity, and a once in a lifetime experience! Wake up to rolling waves, close to town to get a bite to eat, and close to wildlife to go Moose watching! An absolutely perfect experience!!! Keep up the great work :-)
Would not recommend this place. Owners are quirky and there are many rules and they will try to pressure you to use their son for excursions which you are better off doing on your own. The largest cabin does not have a shower downstairs - only a tub so ask about this before you secure. Overpriced for what you get.
First the check in was awesome cause you meet the actual owners who actually live in the community where you're renting a cabin. Heather and Trevor gave us great advice and their enthusiasm was not lost on us.
The inside of the Laker cabin was so clean and had homey touches like a quilt and pillows galore on our bed! Speaking of beds. The king bed in the Laker is the best bed we have ever slept in away from home!
We enjoyed the Adirondack chairs both on the deck and the dock. The loons were a site to see and each night we were serenaded by all the loons on the lake! We fished every day even in Black Fly season. The locals told us about Bens spray and the flies didn't bother us at all.
Our Cozy Moose vacation was our best vacation to date! Thank you Heather and Trevor.
