We did the Moose Safari with Steve, and it was a great sunset safari by road and canoe. We came upon 2 cows in a pond and were able to get really close! We ended our trip with a sunset fishing cruise with Eric. It was such a pleasure to just enjoy the lake, the sunset, and the thrill of catching beautiful fish. All the guides are so easy going and great company!
We arranged a 4 day canoe trip with the help of Patricia and Mike. It was easy to do - they are so organized! Every question I had was answered, the equipment was in excellent shape, and the drivers/guides were knowledgeable and on time (something we greatly appreciated when we were waiting to be picked up at the end). We got a lot of terrific advice from the guides before we set out on our own. The trip itself was pretty amazing and we wouldn't have been able to do it without Northwoods Outfitters!
My wife and I went on a private moose safari by road and had great success - spotted 4! The autumn scenery amidst the morning mist and the sunrise was simply breathtaking. Steve was our guide and we were totally at ease with him being such a warm, down to earth person who loves his job. The 5th star on this review is for you, Steve.
We went on the moose safari today, Steve was an amazing guide. We got to see one beautiful female moose when on the hunt via the van ride, no moose via the water canoeing... but no complaints as the scenic beauty is an adventure all in its own!
Tim is an awesome tour guide. He is also a fun educator on moose and other fun facts. A lively guy, personable and helpful. I highly recommend you take a canoe tour with this guy and go see some moose! We saw two!
