My husband, Dave and I were married aboard Kate on July 7, 2007. Everyone says their wedding day was one of the best days of their lives, and I totally agree. Everyone from the Captain to the wonderful woman who took the ropes off Kate we're so nice to us. We had a live band - Zevulon, playing and it was just awesome. We come up every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary the 1st week of July and we usually do one of the other Rock N Roll Cruises or Dinner Cruise too. We've never had a bad day. All the staff love what they do. I highly recommend this adventure - it's fun & you're supporting a piece of history. ♥️
My son worked on the Katahdin this summer and I went for a kineo cruise and it was absolutely awesome the crew is the best very friendly lots of fun and Liz the lady that runs the museum is a very very nice person
What a wonderful boat ride. The crew were so nice and the views spectacular.
If it's Moosehead Lake you want to learn about, you'll find good information here. The staff is great too! Whitney not only helps run the gift shop, she also ties up the "Kate" when she comes back from lake tours!
I love the boat ride. Done it a few times. Its a long ride. Moves slow. But the scenery is spectacular. Museum isnt real big. Food sold
